The Kidlink Institute/Research (KI/R) is a division of Stiftelsen Kidlink. Its charter is to perform and promote research in Education and related areas in the Human and Social Sciences based on Kidlink's repositories of records of past and ongoing projects.

Kidlink's complete repositories containing records of all its project activities is a unique feature, and a rich source of material for educational research.

KI/R is headed by Dr. Marisa Lucena, Brazil . She is also a member of Kidlink's Top Management Team and the National Co-ordinator of The Kidlink Network in Brazil.

Its work is supported by a Research Committe of internationally acclaimed researchers, assisted by Research Associates in many countries.
