Nicolò is a charming boy who is very active in Kidlink especially Kidart, a budding Chellist and photographer. Here, Adele find out what is so special about Kidlink and why he got involved.

Adele: How did you know about Kidlink?
Nicolò: I know Kidlink at school. In the school year 2004/2005 my class participates to "Let Your Peace Kite Fly" project and I like immediately Kidlink. Then, our teacher proposes us to help Kidlink and I agree to this idea. So, I'm here, to help Kidlink and Kidlinkers for peace and cooperation.
Adele: Why were you interested in becoming a volunteer?
Nicolò: For me Kidlink is a big adventure, a big adventure for cooperation and peace, because only with cooperation there's peace. Peace is cooperation. And if Kidlink is cooperation, Kidlink is peace. Helping Kidlink is a little step for helping the peace. It's for this reason that I help Kidlink. I was interested in work with arts, with persons and with technologies... my passions...

Adele: Why are you still interested in being a volunteer?
Nicolò: My role in Kidlink is helping the Kidlinkers, to explain them with images, chat and with what they can explain. Only with the expression we can do the cooperation and the peace. I want to continue what I do because I like Kidlink and I like work with persons and work for cooperation.

Adele: What did you learn since you are a Kidlink volunteer?
Nicolò: I've learn a lot of things: I've learn a better use of Internet and WebPages, I've improved my English and I've seen other cultures, different from my culture. And I've known other persons. Probably, with Kidlink I've learnt to help in a better mode the persons.

Adele: How did Kidlink help you in reaching your goals?
Nicolò: Kidlink help also me in explain me. I think that Kidlink has helped me to know better me. And I'm happy of this. For the practical side I've improved better my computer knowledge and my English language knowledge.

Adele: How do you feel, being a volunteer?

Nicolò: I felt that I can and I must help Kidlink because I help cooperation and, in some mode, peace.

Adele:
Did your family/teachers support you? Did they trust you?
Nicolò: My family support me for the complex of my engagements and my teacher helped me to know Kidlink and for meet Anne-Tove and Odd. They trust me for the work that I do in Kidlink.

Adele:
Do you believe that what you are doing is helpful? If yes, how?
Nicolò: Yes, I do because I think that I help the expression of the persons that it is important for cooperation.
Adele: Would you suggest other kids to volunteer as you did? Why?
Nicolò: Yes, Adele. I'm on searching people, for the moment this is only Italian, that is interested in help Kidlink.

Adele:
What's the dream for your future as a Kidlink volunteer?
Nicolò: Help Kidlink in transform its cooperation and see Kidlink's success.

Adele:
What would you like to become or do?
