<NihatN1> In our family we are gathering in New Year and in Novruz holyday. Also we are gathering in the birthdays of our family members. We are three childeren, my tw brothers and I. But for my family the special event is my fathers' birthday

<NihatN1> our relatives, my grandparents are always togather on this day. Because he is the elder son in their family. of course
<NihatN> we had gatherings when it is a holidays. in our family the speciol day it is my brithday

<T-Ryan> a little clouds, temperature is supposed to be about 10 degrees Celcius this afternoon

<NihatN> it is morning or night
<NihatN1> well, it the early spring know
<NihatN1> but it is very hot
<NihatN> in Azerbaijan is hot. it is a sezon of rests
<NihatN1> the weather usually is not so hot in the beginning of spring
<T-Ryan> I'm very much into religious music (Catholic church), so the Gloria & Gospel Acclamation (Alleluia) are my favorite parts of the mass :) I play the piano, organ, and the drums
<A-EpiS> Ryan do you sing on the choir?
<T-Ryan> nope...don't think I sing well enough . I have been the accompainist for the choir a few times though

<NihatN1> the mugam , our natioanl music have been announced the one 28 masterpieces of world

<NihatN1> Yes and the famous singer of mugamat is the Alim Gasimov
<A-EpiS> I will try to search to see how it sounds
<NihatN1> that is very rich and very interesting
<A-EpiS> What instruments ?
<NihatN> yes it is good we can understand either
<NihatN1> there are three instruments playing mugam. there are tar, kamancha, and gabal. these are three most important instruments in mugamat
<NihatN> how old are you
<T-Ryan> I am 16.
<NihatN> i am 15 yers old but it is not matter

<NihatN1> no
<A-EpiS> any instruments?
<NihatN1> what about you?Do have your natioanl music? no
<T-Ryan> Epi, I don't think we really have any national music other than the National Anthem
<NihatN> rayn do you now abaut mugam music?
<T-Ryan> no, I've never heard it
<A-EpiS> I will try to get some to hear it
<NihatN> it is a azerbijans national music.nobody now haw old this music
<A-EpiS> We in Puerto Rico have the danza and aguinaldo music
<NihatN1> Is Puerto rico big? your language is spanish right?
<A-EpiS> no, very small island in the caribbean. yes language is Spanish
<NihatN1> I like this language I dont speak
<A-EpiS> you know spanish? ah
<NihatN> we have a great mugams xanendes. xanende is a man who sing this tupe music.
<NihatN1> but it sounds very nice. here we can watch soup opears spanish talking countries on TV

<T-Ryan> NihatN1, have you ever listened to Johann Sebastian Bach's music?
<NihatN1> they have being interpeted into azery
<NihatN1> no, i don't listen classic music
<NihatN1> but his some melodies are very popular still
<T-Ryan> I play quite a bit of Bach's music (Toccata & Fugue in D minor, Prelude & Fugue in C Major, Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, etc.)
<NihatN> yes i had a tape of bach`s organs music
<NihatN1> I can recall movie about his life
<T-Ryan> I really like his music
<NihatN1> hope you will become a perfect muscian when you grow up
<T-Ryan> in my church it is considered popular (the organist plays a lot of Bach's music)

<NihatN> the bach`s music is diffucult but very interesting

<NihatN1> people are fasting durung this whole month, praying to God, we say Allah

<NihatN1> I mean God in azery Is ALLah

<NihatN1> yes, only after reaking of fast, and nothing bu 6 oclock

<A-EpiS> during the day you don't eat
<NihatN1> No we don't
<A-EpiS> It is somewhat like lent
<NihatN1> at six early morning till six in the evening
<NihatN1> sorry, what is lent?
<T-Ryan> Lent is a time in the Christian church that lasts 40 days. It consists of fasting. It is to kind of show what Jesus Christ went through on his 40 day journey through the desert
