<katty> No I never met my grandmother
<Lucas> Were they fighting for land?

<Julie> I have gone there to visit a lot of times.
<Lucas> My grandmother always said that education more more tougher. It was because teachers would slap you with a stick on the wrist.
<Julie> My parents have told me that my grandparents belived school was better back then because the children concentrate more.
<A-EpiS> Julie do you have a story about how was life in your grandparents days?
<Lucas> If you did something wrong you would be punished. This is what we call corporal punishment and it was allowed.
<katty> I believe many kids now a days take education for granted
<Julie> They concentrated more becuase there was no T.V or PS2
<Lucas> Yes they do. People should be happy to go to school everyday.
<Lucas> People should be happy that they have shoes on their feet.
<katty> Thta's true
<Julie> When my grandparents lived they had to take their own chairs to school.
<Lucas> I know from my fathers stories, he did not have shoes in elementary school.
