* A-EpiS changes topic to 'Inviting Friends-Invitate them to a three-day virtual holiday where you live. "Virtual" means that they will travel to see you through the Internet. Cheap. Fun. Easy. How can you make your area interesting to the others? How to write and send out an invitation so that many wants to visit just you?

<A-EpiS> You invite others to come to your place, stay with you for three days. Only it is virtual
<Jasmine> What do you mean? Do you send pictures and show various locations in you city?
<A-EpiS> Some students from Italy actually visitted their Internet friends a few years ago
<samantha> Really!
<A-EpiS> What you have to do is tell others why they would want to visit you. What will they see and eat,etc

<A-Bev> Shanet, what kinds of restaurants would you like to take our virtual friends to in Manhattan?
<Shanet> I would liek to take them to a chineese resturant. And then maybe see a broadway show
<Jasmine> California Pizza Kitchen!!!! Thats awsome.

<A-Bev> What kind of pizza can you eat at the California Pizza Kitchen?
<samantha> Burger King!!!!!!

<A-Bev> Shanet, can you eat pineapple pizza?
<Jasmine> The last time I went, I had the Thai Chicken Pizza
<A-EpiS> hmmm sounds delicious
<Jasmine> That was pretty good, but I recommend the Barbaque.
<Shanet> yes you can eat pinaapple pizza..its autally very tasty
<samantha> No, Burger King they sell burgers and french fries.
<A-EpiS> ahh
<A-Bev> It does sound delicious!
<Jasmine> It IS very delicious!
<A-EpiS> Do you all live in Yonkers?
<Jasmine> We all live in Yonkers
<samantha> Do you like burgers?
<A-EpiS> yes :-) And I am getting hungry

<A-EpiS> What else would we do besides eating?
<Shanet> shopping!!
<samantha> We can go shopping. there are many shopping centers here . you can find almost anything
<Jasmine> But you get more of a variaty outside Yonkers. variety*
<A-Bev> Macy's is one of the largest stores in Manhattan. It takes up a whole block.
<Jasmine> Thats awesome! They have alot of sales too! THey also have a lot of variety
<samantha> Really! you can find clothes, electronics, and my personal favorite....clothes!!
<A-EpiS> there is a group of students from Azov, in Russia that are asking other students to visit them (virtually)
<Jasmine> And there are alot of little carts like food carts and you can get Afghani food/ The chicken and rice is very very good.
<A-Bev> What are some Afghani dishes?
<Jasmine> I've only tried the chicken and rice with the special sauce. The sauce tastes very very good.
<Shanet> thats my favorite!!
<A-Bev> How is it different from Spanish chicken and rice? Are the seasonings the same?
<Jasmine> Well it has alot more sauce, which you can savour with each and every bite.
<Jasmine> Where do the group in Russia live?
<samantha> I want to go to Russia!

<A-Bev> That would be an interesting experience!
<Shanet> wow russia looks interesting!
<A-EpiS> Yes, they are asking other students to come and visit
<samantha> I can't wait.
<A-EpiS> Historic places in Yonkers?
<samantha> Yes there is. I work at a historic museum in Yonkers.
<Shanet> Tell us about your experience samantha.
<samantha> The Hudson River Museum but we have the Glenview Mansion also. I give tours to people.
<Jasmine> Are there any interesting exibits that will interest the kids in Russia?
<samantha> Yes, we have a planatarium and the mansion usually get's peoples attention. My favorite exhibit was the magic of light.
<Shanet> Whats that all about?
<samantha> There are a lot of interesting things that can be done with lights.
<Shanet> Cool! that would intrest me!
<A-EpiS> what do they have now. the virtual visit is in April
<samantha> They have an exhibit showing how nature connects with our everyday lives. There is a picture showing Mc Donalds in the forest.
<A-EpiS> that would be great if they keep the forests. where is that?
<A-Bev> We could see a Broadway musical? Which one would you like to see, :Beauty and the Beast"?
<Jasmine> Or we could see Moving Out.
<Shanet> I wuld love that!!!
<Shanet> Broadway musicals are so nteresting!
<Jasmine> It would be very appealing to a group of teenagers
<Shanet> interesting
<Jasmine> It is a show about a group of teenagers. Whenever I see the commercials, I think of the movie Greece.
<samantha> Really, I loved Grease.
<Shanet> There are many broadway shows besides beauty and the beast
<A-EpiS> Grease is good and I love the music and the dancing
<A-Bev> Who wrote the music for "Movin Out?"
<Jasmine> It was Billy Joel. I think that was his name. I'm not positve.
<A-Bev> Forty Second Street is a very exciting place? Would students like it? What could young people do there?
<Jasmine> They can find cheap jewlery.
<A-EpiS> real jewelry?
<Jasmine> That looks good. You can find ways to bargain with them.
<A-Bev> There are many vendors on the streets, outside of the many stores. There are perfume stores.
<Shanet> Its verey fun to be there...theres something new in every corner
<samantha> They have hat stores too.
<Jasmine> Their not real, their just regular studs, stuff teenagers would wear.
<A-Bev> You can buy prints and paintings of famous places in New York. I love the hat stores!
<Jasmine> True.
<A-EpiS> we don't wear hats in here. but in Russia they do
<Shanet> There are many nice souvenirs
<A-Bev> There are sidewalk vendors who sell hot dogs, salted pretzels and soda.
<Jasmine> So they will enjoy it as a souvenirs. Yes and the Afghani food! My favorite!!!
<A-Bev> Many times there are musicians and entertainers on the sidewalks.
<A-EpiS> and magicians?
<A-Bev> There is one man who poses as a statue for minutes and then begins to move slowly!
<Shanet> Ites very pleasent to hear music on the streets like that
<A-Bev> He appears to be painted in a silver paint. He is amazing! There is a group that plays music from the Andes.
<A-EpiS> how is the weather on April?
<samantha> It's rainy.
<Jasmine> Its beautiful!
<samantha> It's raining today! April showers ..
<samantha> Bring May flowers
<Shanet> =)
