Planning your 3 day visit
Student discussion in KidCom's Who-Am-I? Room
Thursday May 3, 2007 at
13:30 GMT

When should you visit them? How long will it take to get there?
What will fun, food, and travel cost? What money do they use?
Where will you stay? What will the weather be like? What do
you need to pack? What gifts should you bring?
Will they understand you?

The actual virtual visits will take place in a few weeks.

  • "The weather or climate matters when you plan vacations. Because if it rains I can’t go to the lake to swim or if the weather is cold I must wear warm clothes. You should know which clothes you have to take. I want to see the homes of famous writers, singers, artists because I think that their homes are very beautiful and rich and I want to admire their homes. Maybe I can see any actors or singers. Many people in the world have their idols. And they dream to meet their idols. They dream to see their homes, to take an autograph of them! I don’t have idols but it doesn’t matter. I want to see their homes. It is very interesting to see how they live!" Anastasia from Russian Federation , April 2007. More...
  • "I like to travel but haven't been abroad.I want to visit many countries there, because there is different culture and different food. I think that if you travel very often you will study many different languages (for example: I want to know many languages: English, French,Spanish and so on). I want to travel with my family everywhere." Lyuba from Russian Federation , April 2007. More...
  • Alexandr S. Pushkin (in front of the museum)"I would like to go to America and Australia. Hollywood , the statue of Liberty make America interesting to me. I have travelled in my own country Russia. The most interesting for me was the tomb of our famous poet Alexander Pushkin , this place I liked best. I have been abroad for a lot of times! I liked that so much! I have already visited Spain , Turkey, Greece , Bulgary , Egypt , Latvia ... I preferred Spain , the journey was very-very cool , interesting , exciting! In summer I was in Crete, the Greek island , where the traditional food is Greek salad. I liked it . I speak Russian , English , Spanish. I can use English in all countries , this language is international. My mother will go with me to America , because she is afraid of letting me go there alone. I want to see the new place , because we live only one time and we must visit different countries!" Anna from Russian Federation , April 2007. More... - More from Russia , April 2007
