How do I find their email address?

You cannot, unless they tell you their e-mail addresses.

However, as a member you can send them a KidMail:

  1. If you find someone you want to write to on a web page, click at the name, select "User login", provide your Kidlink nickname and password, then click at the link to "Send KidMail message."
  2. If you find someone you want to write to by searching our membership database, then just click at the link to "Send KidMail message."
  3. If you find someone you want to write to on a web page looking like in this example, then locate the number in paranthesis under the line starting with Content-type: In our example, it says "Name/Age/Gender: Urd / 14 / girl (43389) Country: Norway". The number you want is 43389. Go to our membership database. Provide your Kidlink nickname and password to log in. Click at "Search". type the number you found In the box by "Registration number is:" (in our example: 43389). Click Search, and then at the name to be able to send a KidMail to the person.

How do I find kids with the same interests as me?

Search our membership database, using words representing your interests. For example, search in what kids have written about themselves in the "First answer contains:" box, like "soccer"to find kids interested in soccer. .

Search our public membership database using words indicating your interests. For example, type "soccer" in the box by "Search for:" to find kids interested in soccer. Consider setting a start date for your search in the box by "Since:" before clicking at "Start the search." using the format of the examples at the bottom. Do this to avoid getting many kids who registered ages ago, and who may be adults by now. Make a note about the numbers of their registrations, and send them a KidMail as explained here.
