What Must I Do?
Ask An Expert

Hello! I am Adriana Portella Hollenbeck and I started teaching when I was 17 years old. Actually, I've never thought about a different career. In Brazil - where I was born and where I used to live until I moved to USA - you can become a teacher right after you gratuate from a Teachers High School and that allows you to teach from K until 4th Grade. After that I went to College and became an Art Teacher. Being a teacher has just showed me I can share some of what I've learned, but I can always learn more and more. Students teach us every day and the little are really special. I would love to share some of my experiences with you and tell you a little bit about my own history as a teacher!
