Louise from Sweden
: To be a
famous singer I must learn how to write lyrics and how to play the guitar
and the piano.
Susan from United States
: First,
develop your talent-singing,dancing,songwriting,image, and maybe instrument.
If you write music, find a producer or studio that you can pay to make your
demo with you. A demo is 3-5 of your original songs that were wrtten by or
for you. then, make a demo kit-with a bio, your demo CD or tape, pictures,
a lyric sheet, etc.By this stage you should ahve an aimge-like avril lavigne's
punk chick image or britney's little girl growing up image. Make many copies.
Sned them to record companies- make sure you have a performance ready, because
if they like your demo they'll expect you to perform for them live. make
sure your songs are good- reocrd companies get about a billion demo kits
a day, and for them to sign you they have to be in love with your music in
the first 20 seconds. Meanwhile, keep performing- go to things like Star
Search, or some other big contest or festival. Notice I said big- go somewhere
where you know record companies can watch you. Never give up!
Demand discovery=never wait for it.Shove
yourself in their faces. record companies want hit songs and image- performance
technique comes after that. If you have a great songs and great star quality,
then they'll be crazy not to sign you. If one company rejects you, don't
worry. keep trying.
Matthew from United States
: When I
go to college, I will get a degree as a psyciatrist.
James from United States
: To be a
singer, I need to try to remember not to lose my songs 15 seconds after I
write them.
Magalie from Canada
: yes I will
need to practice but my friends say I sing great
Kyra from United States
: I think
that to become a singer you should learn to sing with a nice voice by using
correct techniques (correct breathing, not straining, etc.) Practice, practice,
practice! Also, writing your own songs can help. Another great thing to do
is get inurlved in singing activities like chorus, a band with friends, voice
lessons, karaoke and anything else that interests you.
Kiri from Australia

Lucy from Australia
: I think you need
to write your own songs and find a studio to record them on.
