What Is GMT Time?

GMT (Greenwich Mean Time)  uses a 24 hour clock instead of a.m. and p.m. Thus, 11 p.m. at night would be 23:00 GMT. At 1 in the afternoon (p.m.) it would be 13:00 GMT.

The GMT clock continues until 24:00 GMT is reached again.

The GMT time right now

Use GMT when inviting others to a meeting, as in: "We will meet on Saturday at 17:00 GMT" Check this page for ideas.

Example: In KidCom, click the News! button under the box where you type messages. The News! page appears, and says it is 10:15 UTC/GMT now. Your clock says it is 12:15. Thus, GMT is 2 hours less than your time. If you want the meeting to start on Saturday at 17:00 your time, then announce the meeting time to be (17:00 - 2:00 = ) 15:00 GMT

If you live in a place where 12:15 GMT is 07:15 your time, add 5 hours to your time to get GMT. To show up at 15:00 GMT KidCom meeting, be there at 10:00 local time...
