When planning participation in The I Have a Dream program it might be good to work with other coaches. Since this is a long run project it might be too much work for one content area in the school. Here are some suggestions on how to activate other teachers at your school:

Ask the math teacher if it is possible to focus on statistics or plans on funding when it is suitable in the project. Look at the time line and be ready to say when it would be appropriate.

An art teacher would be a treasure by helping out with web decorations, drawings, creating the project logo, decorating walls and more things.

A native language teacher might be able to take a few lessons in writing descriptions, creative writing and maybe communicating. If the project is done in a foreign language the teacher of that language might be very glad if students have some real tasks.

Teachers of sociology or community might welcome the topic of a dream that has a worthy focus.

Teachers teaching biology, physics, geography, geology or chemistry might welcome discussions on environmental issues or even about the areas where the other participants live.

Those who teach cooking skills might just love to organize students when they have reached some milestones as well as coordinating the final celebration party.

An good coach is skilled in planning and distributing work. To keep the students focused constantly through a long period of time it might be a good idea to change the perspective on how they see the Dream and how it might come true.

An effective brainstorming with colleagues on how the project could relate to their curriculum might give new focus and ideas.
