A commitment over time

  1. Youth are asked to join a long term project which requires dedication and commitment to team goals outlined by a global team membership.
  2. Because each team must be accountable for achieving its goals tasks should be divided allowing each member to be accountable for contributing his or her share of the work.
  3. Active participation by all team members will enhance team creativity.
  4. Youth are encouraged to relate the project to more than one content area.
  5. Involve youth in setting goals for the program.
  6. Youth are asked to evaluate their personal goals as well as team goals.

Dream projects will be judged by a team of Kidlink judges in the final module of the program according to rubrics. Participating youth should be aware of these rubrics and keep them in mind as they design and develop their dream projects.
