The intent of KidSpace is to provide a safe place for Kidlink kids and teachers to learn, experiment, and experience the real-time collaborative aspects that the Internet has to offer. KidSpace allows people all over the world to communicate with one another in real-time. KidSpace users:

Create and present web-based projects;
Communicate and problem-solve;
Practice language skills;
Develop an appreciation for other cultures.

On KidSpace, communication is accomplished via

Publishing and viewing web pages;
Webpage comments;
