October 1999.




I got up at 7 and I was already tired. As usual I had to go to school :


horrible. I went to the kitchen and I had a milk shake with some biscuits


for breakfast. I washed my face and I dressed but, being in a hurry, I put


on two different socks +ACE- At 7.45 I went to school by bike and I fell down in


front of two beautiful girls +ACE- I+IBk-m a bit silly +ICY-




At 8.00 I entered the school. In the first period I had an Italian test. It


was a good test. In the second period I watched a documentary about the town


hall of my small town. What a bore +ACEAIQ- But we enjoyed to pull my friend


Nicola+IBk-s legs.




In the third period we had a great music lesson then we had a beautiful gym


class. In the fifth period Mr Pigozzi




helped us to write the Kidlink Diary. At 1.00 o+IBk-clock I went home and I had


spaghetti,eggs and fruit at lunch. It was




really very good +ACEAIQ- Then I watched my favourite cartoons : the Simpsons. At


3.30 I did my homework, it was nasty.




At 4.00 o+IBk-clock I ate an ice-cream, delicious ice-cream +ICY-.. At 4.40 I played


football with my friends : very good.




I+IBk-m the best at football : I scored two goals in my goalpost +ACEAIQ- At 6.15 I


went back home and I looked after my sister Giuli. She is eleven months old


and she is a very nice child. I+IBk-m sure in the future she will be Miss Italia


+ACEAIQ-




At 8.00 o+IBk-clock I had dinner. Later on I watched TV. I watched a fantastic


comic programme. At 11.00 I went to bed.




I was very tired. Good night. See you.

7.05 I got up, dressed and had a cup of tea with some biscuits. Then I went


to school by car with my mother.




8.10 I entered the classroom with my friends and we began our lessons.




9.05 I have just had an Italian test, it was good.




10.05 The bell rang. We had break time. I went to speak to the Headmaster


with my friend Mattia. His office was full of smoke. It was terrible +ACEAIQ-




10.15 Break time has finished and the third period began : it was Music. We


played our flutes, I like Music.




11.10 The Music lesson was over and we went to the gym : wonderful +ACEAIQ-




12.05 We came back to the classroom for our English lesson, with our


terrible teacher +ICY- Mr Pigozzi.




01.05 All classes were over. I went back home by bus. The travel lasted


about 20 minutes.




02.10 I have just finished my lunch and I have played with my dog and my


cat.




03.00 I have done my homework (it was a bore +ACE-) then I have gone to the gym


for my volleyball training. I like it very much.




06.00 I have come back home and, after a shower, I have studied for an hour.




07.30 I have had dinner with my family, we have eaten +ACI-tigelle+ACI-, and we have


talked about many things.




08.30 I sat down with my family in the living room in front of the fireplace


and we watched TV. My cat was sleeping on the sofa and the dog on the


carpet.




10.00 After washing my teeth I went to bed with my teddy bear Bobo. I was so


tired +ACEAIQ- Good night +ACE-








Hello, my name is Enrico Pollastri and this is my diary of 15 October 1999.




I got up at 7.00 o+IBk-clock, I have had my usual breakfast with milk and


biscuits and now I+IBk-m going to the bus stop.




I entered school at 8.00 o+IBk-clock and I have just had an Italian test.


Bleeeagh +ACEAIQ- Let+IBk-s hope it+IBk-s OK otherwise I+IBk-ll have to listen to my Mum +ACEAIQ-


Thanks God it was easy and after the test we have P.E. I hope we will play


basketball, it+IBk-s fantastic. Now we have a good Music lesson. We listen to


medieval music, Carmina Burana, but I prefer rock music.




It+IBk-s great. It+IBk-s quarter past twelve, we have had a gym lesson. We have


played handball and my team has won, but I wanted to play basketball +ACEAIQAh- Bad


luck.

When I returned back home I ate a nice plate of spaghetti with clams. It was


very very good. Then I watched the Simpsons, a very nice cartoon.




In the afternoon I have done my homework, what a bore +ACEAIQ- Then I went out and


 I played football with my friends in the park. At 6.30 I went with my


brother for a short drive. At 7.30 I had dinner and I ate a fantastic pizza,


a lot of salad and two pieces of cake. Yummm +ACE- Finally I went to bed, it was


a good day. See you.

This morning I got up at seven o+IBk-clock . Yawn +ACE- I have breakfast whit

biscuits and milk . I must hurry up+ACEAIQ- I must hurry up+ACEAIQ- It+IBk-s late +ACEAIQ- It+IBk-s

eight o+IBk-clock. I start school at eight post ten. The first hours we hove a

lesson of music. I get a good mark in the music test. Ehh+ACEAIQ- I like it+ACE- But,

the bell rings +ACEAIQ-



Now , we have a lesson of French +ICY-. We have a test of French+ACE- What a

nuisance +ACEAIQ- But , at last +ICY-



The bell rings +ACEAIQ- Now , there is the break +ACEAIQ- That+IBk-s the best moment of my

day +ACE- After five minutes+ICY-



We went to the library for a visit +ACE- We chose a book to read . The librarian

explained the services of the library . We go back to school at 13.00 o+IBk-

clock. After ten minutes we went to the content . We ate pasta and meat.

After , we played football . After twenty minutes ,..There is a lesson+ACEAIQ- The

first hour we have Italian . The second hours we have at lesson of English +ACE-

Not so bad+ACE- After, we have one hour of technical education . After school my

friend veronica and I went to volleyball. When I get home at the house I

have dinner, But after , I+IBk-m exhausted+ICY-.

7.00 A.M. The alarm clock has rung. No, I must get up. Today there+IBk-s a

History test. I ask my mother if I can stay at home +ACEAIQ- No hope.



8.00 A.M. The answer was no. I+IBk-m in the school courtyard with my friends.

Everybody is studying History, but I+IBk-m not.



Everybody is very worried.



9.00 A.M. We have just finished the grammar lesson. No, I+IBk-ve forgotten my

jacket at the gym yesterday +ACE- Today I must go to the basketball training and

I+IBk-m very tired.



10.00 A.M. Finally 10 minutes of freedom . it+IBk-s break time +ACE- I+IBk-m very hungry

+ACE- Lorenzo has thrown his cellotape to Chiara and hit her. Stefano tells me

what he watched on TV last evening +ICY-. What a class +ACE-



11.00 A.M. We have finished the History test. Let+IBk-s hope the best +ACE-

According to me it was a disaster. Help me +ACE- And now vocational guidance.



12.00 A.M. And also vocational guidence is over +ACE- Now there+IBk-s French and we

will enjoy a bit.



01.00 P. M. The French teacher sent me out of the classroom because I was an

idiot. The day was good +ACE-



02.00 P.M. I+IBk-m watching TV and my sister is doing her homework. The weather

is cloudy.



03.00 P.M. I+IBk-m beginning my homework. I+IBk-m very tired. I don+IBk-t want to go to

basketball training +ACE-



04.00 P. M. I+IBk-m preparing tea and a little pizza for me and my sister.



05.00 P.M. What a bore +ACE- It would be better to be in Jamaica +ACE-

diary, but I tell him that it is for the school

08.00 P.M. My friend Thomas has been silly and so we are doing some

abdominal exercises.



09.00 P.M. I+IBk-m just back home from the gym and I+IBk-m watching a really funny

programme on TV.



10.00 P.M. I go to bed because I+IBk-m very very tired. Good night.






Hi. My name+IBk-s Lisa and this is my diary for the kidlink day.



7.45 A.M. I+IBk-m going over the History lesson in my bedroom,my mother is

calling me and she is telling me that it is late. We must go. I put my book

in the school bag and we leave.



9.06 A.M. We have had the grammar lesson. While the teacher was explaining

Vincenza and I were studying History. Luckily the teacher did not notice it.



10.00 A.M. We have just finished the Geometry lesson and after this hour

there+IBk-s the History test. I+IBk-m worried. I don+IBk-t remember when Lincoln was

elected and when he died. I am not so much interested.



11.50 A.M. I have gone to the bathroom because a small eyelash entered into

my eye. It+IBk-s OK that it is autumn and leaves are falling down, but my

eyelashes too +ACEAIQ- I+IBk-ve just finished my History test, it wasn+IBk-t great but I

hope that I get a pass mark.



12.08 P.M. We have just finished our vocational guidence class and we have

talked about unemployment in Italy. It isn+IBk-t a rewarding profession, but it

is sure that you have a lot of free time +ACE- Now we have the French lesson.

The teacher is coming into the classroom and she is beginning to speak in

French.



12.48 P.M. Lessons will be over in a few minutes +ACEAIQ- Finally +ACE-



02.00 P.M. I am beginning my homework. I must study Geography first, what a

stress +ACE-



03.00 P.M. I+IBk-ve not ended my homework yet. I must do a translation into

English.



04.00 P.M. I have finished everything. Hooray +ACE- In a little while I+IBk-m going

to play tennis.



05.50 P.M. Now the hardest moment is coming. It isn+IBk-t true that as the

saying goes +ACI-dulcis in fundo+ACI-, I would say +ACI- hard in fundo+ACI-. I must do my

athletic preparation. I complain with my coach but here, at the tennis club,

they let me die, because I run and I make a lot of abdominal exercises.



07.30 P.M. It has finished. I+IBk-m shattered. The only part of my body that

doesn+IBk-t hurt is the tongue. I want to get home.



08.00 P.M. My favourite hour +ACE- Well folks I+IBk-m eating +ACEAIQ- I hope that my

mother has prepared something good. She always thinks of nourishing food

that I hate +ACEAIQ-



09.30 P.M. After the battle the warrior needs a rest. I+IBk-m feeling more like

a wet rag than a warrior. I+IBk-m going to bed before my mother uses me to clean

the floor +ACE- Good night.

dress, I wash and after I have breakfast. Then, I must wake up my sister. In
this moment I am very tired and I don’t want to go to school!
8.00 a.m. = I am at school. I’m talking with my schoolmate, because my
teacher is not at school. (It’s better that the teacher is ill so we do
nothing!).
9.00 a.m. = the teacher is ill and we are still talking.
After we’re going to do break.
10.00 a.m. = we are talking with the teacher about the youth problems.
11.00 a.m. = we’re having the technical education and drawing some difficult
drawings.
12.00 a.m. = we are doingmathematics and we are correcting the test of
yesterday. I made all right! I am very happy!
1.00 p.m. = finally I go out from school, and I go out to my house to eat
the lunch prepared by my grand- mother.
2.00 p.m. = I start my homework. I don’t want to do it but I must
unfortunately!
3.00 p.m. = I’m hungry! I want to prepare pop-corn.
I like it very much.
4.00 p.m. = I go out with my friends and we are going to Valentina’s house
(tuis is my friend, my neighbour)
5.00 p.m. = I’m still with my friends and we are going to play football,
also girls play!
6.00 p.m. = I am at home with my father. We are going to go shopping. So we’
re going to see the new car.
7.00 p.m. = I am at home with my family. We have dinner and we talk about
the high schools. Then I finish my homework.
8.00 p.m. = I watch TV and I want to see “Scherzi a parte”, because it is my
favourite program .(“Scerzi a parte” is a program where some people play
jokes to famous people in Italy.
9.00 p.m. = I am ready to go to bed. My sister, Laura, allready is sleeping
and in a short time I’m going to sleep too! Good night.

KID LINK DIARY.
It’s a quarter to seven and my alarm-clock sounds.
I hate this moment because my alarm-clock has a sound that
Can frighten more then the cry of an owl in the night. If I think  that a
must get up and go to school when at home I have this soft and hot quilt, I
want to sleep other three hours.
Well, my parents alarm clock sounds and I know that my mother doesn’t get
up, because she loves sleeping very much.
So I must get up, go to my parents room and spitch the alarm- clock, because
my father sleeps like a top in the morning.
He goes to work at eight, so he gets up when my mother and I go out.
It’s a quarter to eight and I have go to school, but I’m still in the
bathroom. I have a habit: I like reading my books in the bathroom, so I’m
always late at school!
The director told that we mustn’t be late in the morning but I’m not as he
is. He sleeps a few hours at night and at seven o’clock he is already at
school!
Well, I path on the first thing that I find and I wash. Oooops!
Why did I dress before I washing?
It’s true that, in the morning, I sleep up!
Than, I’m ready but……., oh my God, my English book!
Where is it?
After ten minutes….., it’s here! But I’m late!
I’m arriving at school just at eight.
The little bell sounds: another day of school. (if I think to it….I cry!).
It’s nine o’clock and I’m very tired!
We had one hour of remplacement with prof. Armiento, a teacher from Naples.
He is very nice and he isn’t boring as other teachers are. The Italian
teacher is ill and she hasn’t been at school since Monday.
They tell us that she is going to stay at home until today.
(I don’t know how a person can forsee the end of her illness!).
We did a map of Africa: I don’t want to see Africa for the next 3month!! I
hate it! And then the people tell that in Africa, they have no water! There’
s a milion of small and big rivers, lakes, etc…!!!!.
It’s ten o’clock and I’m looking forward the little bell sounds: after an
hour with Mrs.Cervi not to sleep is very difficult.
It’s eleven o’clock and we had Prof. Armiento again.
No comments, beacause my friends and I laughed all the time.
It’s a quarter to twelve and Prof. Ghiacci has been talking since 11.10.
The little bell sounds and he keeps on talking.
One thing is sure: he loves talking very much!
It’s a quarter past one p.m. and I am at home. I eat vegetable soup and
salts pork with cheese.
After, my usual liquorice. I like it very much, and after one lesson of
math, It’s a cure ­ all.
After two hours of homework I’m very tired.
I made a drawing of technical education. I have headache all those measures.
It’s four o’clock and my mother and I must go out. We’re ready and……., where
are the car keys?
It’s seven o’clock and I came back from of the handball tranning. I’m very
tired! Two matches and 45 minutes of stratching!!!
It’s eight o’clock and after a shower, I ate fish.
(I hate it and I prefer to see fish in the sea!).
it’s twenty-two past ten and I’m at my grand-mother house because my parents
went out with friends.
I like to stay with my grand-mother!
And then, who is better than grand-mothers?
Good night and gold dreams!
Not bed dreams, but flowers and lakes, also or the people that live in a bad

Dear diary,
at 7 a.m. I get up. I haven't breakfast because in the early morning I'm not
hungry.
at 7:30 a.m. I go to school with my mother by car.
at 8 a.m. The bell rings and the doors of the hell are open!!
at 8:05 a.m. Lesson begin, and we have a substisute because our Italian
teacher is ill.
at 9:10 a.m. We have another substitute and I chat with my friends.
at 10:05 a.m. We have the break.
at 10:15 a.m. We have another substitution and we read an Italian book.
at 11:10 a.m. We have technique lesson and we draw.
at 12:05 a.m. We have maths lesson: we correct a geometry problem.
This morning it was good for my classmates and I because we didn't have any
tests.
at 1 p.m. I come back home by car and I have lunch. I have a typical Italian
dish: Tagliatelle. I like them very much and in fact I eat them immediately.
at 2 p.m. I do my homework for tomorrow. I do my French exercices, my
technique drawing and my English exercices.
at 3 p.m. After my homework I play with my computer. I like it very much.
at 4 p.m. I watch TV especially musical programs like MTV.
at 5 p.m. I go to Marco's and we go to the bus stop. We must take the bus to
go to the handball training.
at 6:30 p.m. We finish the training and I'm very tired because it's the
first training I do.
at 7 p.m. I come back home. I arrive at this time because the bus is always
late.
at 7:30 p.m. I have dinner with my family and I eat a steak with some chips.
at 8 p.m. I have a shower and I watch TV.
at 9 p.m. I see a program on TV.
at 10:30 p.m. I go to bed and I think to the day just passed.
This day was good for me and I had fun.

 Dear diary,
It’s 7 a.m. o’ clock and I get up. Today is Friday and I usually have to go
to school. What a bore!! That’s  a good job. At this moment I’m having
breakfast with a fruit juice and some chocolates biscuits. This is an
energetic breakfast.
It’s 9 a.m. o’ clock the first lesson has been enjoying and pleasant because
the Italian teacher was not at school, so we studied geography of Africa.
It’s 10 a.m. o’clock in 10 minutes the break is coming and I’m very happy.
The second lesson has been even more pleasant than the first hour because it
was another free hour and we talked.
It’s 11 a.m. o’clock we only talked with my school fellows.
It’s 12 a.m. o’clock with the technology teacher we drew a parallelepiped.
It’s 1 p.m. o’clock we left school  ad while we were waiting of the bus
stop, we talked of the morning, fortunately the bus arrive in 3 minutes. I
was tired to wait  it because I’m very hungry,
It’s 3 p.m. o’clock I’m studying French because tomorrow I have a test.
After  must do a technology drawing.
It’s 4 p.m. o’clock I’m very tired to study and now I’m going with my mother
to the supermarket and to the laundry.
It’s 6 p.m. o’clock I come back home and now I’m watching TV.
It’s 8 p.m. o’clock I’m having dinner with my family a sausage and peas.
They’re delicious!!! I haven’t eaten them for a long time!!!
It’s 9 p.m. o’clock I’m watching “scherzi a parte” on TV. I enjoy my self
very much when I watch this program.
It’s 10 p.m. o’clock I go to bed because I’m very tired, today has been a
tiring day…good night.
