December 21:
We have come back from Hyderabad, I enjoy the night trains. My parents reserve our seats in air-conditioned three tier coaches in the train. We had our dinner in the train and I climbed up to the top tier to sleep. When I woke up, we were approaching Madras. Did I say “air-conditioned”? I should say freezer conditioned. I guess that the train attendants in India need special training on heating and cooling. Despite my father’s complaint that the temperature is not comfortable, the attendant could not do very much with the thermostat control. Every one was given a blanket by the attendant! If the coach was comfortable to sleep, I wonder if we needed the blanket.
We went to the jewelry store to place orders for my dad’s ring. Then we went to shops to buy additional clothing materials for our suits. When you travel form one corner of the city to another, day is gone! We had dinner at Pastor Leslie’s house! They cooked chicken! My brother and I are fed up of chicken. There is no beef. Both of us do not eat lamb or fish. So, we have to eat chicken and vegetables.
When you think about India as a poor country,
People work very hard. The poor in India is decreasing according to India abroad magazine.
