Grandma
and Me - Hawaii, USA
Mrs. Patti Weeg,
a Title I teacher from Delmar, Maryland, visited our class one
summer school day. We shared our aloha with leis and hugs. Mrs.
Weeg is working on an Internet project called "Grandma and
Me." Children from around the globe have sent her computer
drawings of their grandmothers with short stories to accompany
their illustrations. We hope you enjoy some of our contributions
to her worldwide project.

My Grandma and Me
This is my grandma and me. We went in the park and she said that
she loves me and I said, "I love you, grandma." She
gave me a kiss and then after all that we went home.

My grandma is so kind to her family. Sometimes, grandma and
I go walking to the park and go to Ala Moana to buy her dress
for the party.

Me and my Grandma play hide-and-seek because we like it. Sometimes
my Grandma gives me some money. My Grandma is good to me because
she lets me buy clay, candy, and snacks. My Grandma is nice to
me. I love my Grandma.

like Pokemon toys. We are nice to my grandma too. We gave her

My grandma is nice to me and she is really
too kind. She is sixty years old. She loves to make clothes.
She is taking me to the park. We walk on the grass. It was a
windy day. After that my grandma and I went to watch a movie.
The movie was so funny. It was called Chicken Run. Then my Grandma
and I went to Burger King to eat dinner. After that my grandma
and I went home. That was the greatest day I ever had before.

me to the beach three times. My grandma has fun with me. When
we go to the beach we have fun. We build sandcastles.

In the Philippines, she likes to visit Tarlac City. She likes
to visit my school, Santo Domingo.

Grandma and Me
Grandma takes me to a party where there is good food. It was
a birthday party for my cousin named Jonalyn. He got toys, balloons
and games. There was
a clown there. The clown juggled 3 balls then four bowling pins.
I liked my cousin's party and that he invited all the people
there.
