Hallo my name is Jessica.
I have 2 grannies. I call them gran and granny. They play with me when I am lonely and they taught me how to knit.

My name is Kate and I have three Grannies. I like them all. My Mom's mom gives me sweets they are very YUMMY!!! I always ask her if she has any sweets. Sometimes she says she does and sometimes she says she does not. My two other grannies are very good cookie makers.

The way of saying grandmother in Afrikaans is Ouma (Ou as in obe, Ma as in Margaret)

The word for "grandmother" in Xhosa is umakhulu - pronounced "ooo maa koo lu"

The Zulu for GrandMom is Gogo, not as in "go for a walk" but as in the "o" in order.
