HELLO !
my name is Shani I come from Cape Town. I call my granny, gran she is very, very nice she taught me how to knit.

When I come home from school and I have a bad day she always cheers me up. When my gran was little she lived on a farm. My gran is the sweetest gran anybody can have when something is wrong and i'm in it she's always on my side.

My gran is the best and I love very, very much from Shani

The way of saying grandmother in Afrikaans is Ouma (Ou as in obe, Ma as in Margaret)

The word for "grandmother" in Xhosa is umakhulu - pronounced "ooo maa koo lu"

The Zulu for GrandMom is Gogo, not as in "go for a walk" but as in the "o" in order.
