How to join the project:
- Subscribe to the KIDPROJ and KIDPROJ-COORD mailing lists. All grandmother text should be sent to the KIDPROJ list. [kidproj@listserv.nodak.edu] Teachers use the KIDPROJ-COORD list to discuss project happenings. [kidproj-coord@listserv.nodak.edu] Only subscribers may post to these lists.
- Submit student responses to the 4 Kidlink questions.
- Register your class for the project by sending an email to Joy Boehm. Only one registration is needed per class. Students entering from home without a class may register individually. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send an e-mail to: Joy Boehm.
- Send student text about grandmothers to the KIDPROJ list with "Grandmother: ......" in the subject line of the message.
Students can also post their text and images in Kidspace. Please draw a picture of your grandmother and add it to our project webpages in Kidspace. Images should be .gif or .jpg and no bigger than 350 pixels wide.
- Revisit the Grandmother and Me webpages frequently to see new additions to the growing online book.
- Grandparents, you are invited to subscribe to the Kidfamilia-Portuguese mailing list. English is welcome.
