My name is Ikuya. I am 10 years old. I like to practice in calligraphy or "Shodo". I call my grandmother "Ba-chan". I enjoy make desert pudding with her. She is good at cooking "Kamaboko" or boiled fish paste. She is a cooking teacher for me.

obaachan, obasan, obaba,

obaachan is usually we use for grandmother. obaasan is a little bit polite way to say.

If you talk about your own grandmother, you may say obaacha for friendly. And if you want to say another person's grandmother, you'll say it for obaasan for polite.

Obaba maybe uses in local places not in the city.
