To our TOE friends,
Hello,from the fourth grade class of the Herman Schreiber school in Brooklyn N.Y. Our teacher’s name is Mrs. Winnie Bracco. There are 27 kids in our class but one is moving so we will have 26 by Friday. During the week our schedule is as follows: we have music(Mr.Marinoff) on Monday,science(Mrs.Kamlet) on Tuesday and Thursday ,family living(Mrs.Stone) on Wednesday and gym(Mrs.Glick) on Friday. Our lunch period is from 12:10 pm to1:10 pm.
There are no team sports in our school but on a special day in June the 3rd,4th,and 5th grades have Field Day. Pre-K,Kindergarten,1st grade,and 2nd grades have an annual Dance Festival. In music class we sing and learn about instruments. We are now auditioning for chorus and if we make it, we will be performing in our annual spring show.
We have no air conditioning in our school. The only rooms that have air conditioning are the computer lab, the principal’s office and the trailers. We have trailers in our school yard that are called portable classrooms. There
are about 1,200 students in our school. We are somewhat crowded so we needed the trailers.
Our principal, Harriet Lorren just retired last week. We missed her very much. We just got a new principal and assistant principal and their names are Mrs. Cohen and Mr.Michelov. Now we have 2 assistant principals, Mrs. Miller and Mr. Michelov. We are looking for a new an exciting year.
We all love our teacher very much.
