Hi everybody! We are from Argentina, a very nice place in South America. We live in a small town in the West of Buenos Aires called San Antonio de Padua. We are from the land of the mate, asado (like barbecue), tango and dulce de leche. We are a group of students who are trying to learn English and we are very happy to participate in this project although we are not good at writing but we'll try to do our best. We think this project is a great opportunity to know something about other cultures and their ways of thinking. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hi!We are students from Argentina. We live in Padua, a small city which is situated in the West of Buenos Aires. There isn't much population here. However, Padua is ALIVE. There's a video game archade where young people meet. At night you can go to dance or go to a pub with your friends. You can go alone too, because as it is a small town everybody knows each one. The Golf Club and the Church are the main landmarks in Padua.
Anyway, we will write about us (we hope it will be more interesting) We are two boys and four girls turning sixteen in a short time. We used to be more but Federico is now in Minnesota as an exchange student.
We like anything but working ;-) We enjoy going to the cinema, playing soccer and dancing. As you can tell, we hate writing but we are trying to do our best. We all go to Sarmiento School and come here to BRIDGES to study English.
Martin, the oldest boy, is learning to play the guitar. He plays very well. He likes Nirvana, Marilyn Manson and A.N.I.M.A.L. The last one is an Argentine rock band. Have you ever heard of them? Agustin, the other boy, plays soccer like Maradona (# 10). Julieta has a strong personality. Sometimes even the boys are afraid of her.
It is very funny! She loves playing volley. Besides she is very good and plays for Ferrocarril Oeste, one of the most important clubs. She is always with Carolina as they are in the same class at school. Caro was the last one who joined us, she started this year. Laura and Natalia are also in the same class at school. Laura is very keen on playing handball. She participated in a districtal champoinship and she had to compete against 20 clubs! Natalia is the laziest and she is always talking. That's why Maria Herminia, our teacher, usually tells her off. She's not very keen on sports but likes acting. This year she will play the role of Maid Marian in Robin Hood.6th.Adolescents
