Dear TOE classes,

We want to describe a small and ancient site of our town called Saint Matthew.

It dates back as far as the XII century.

It was the first settling in the medieval age, of our town.

We are going on a field trip by the end of this week.

Last week we went on a field trip to St Matthew.
Wolking through the narrow street that skirts a long and windind row of coloured,old houses we smelt:
rosemary
mint
sweet basil
moist
Gianluca, Michele, Luigi, Daniele, Domenico

and we saw.
a lot of rocky stairs
an orange tower bell
an old lady dressed in blue
grey dustbins
old brown doors
a grey and short tunnel
a red gate
a lot of coloured houses
a fig-tree with large green leaves
a lot of tangerine trees
some olive trees with small green leaves and a lot of black olives
a lot of orange prikly pears
Annapaola, Serena, tiziana, Antonietta, Ida

and we heard
the sound of a bell
some dogs barking
a cat in love
human voices
birds chirping
the noise of cars in the distance
