Hello World,
We are Elisa, Margherita and Chiara or if you prefer, Elly, Megghy and Botta.
We are from Rubiera, a small town near Reggio Emilia, in the North of wonderful Italy. We
want to tell you about our class. We attend the 8th grade of secondary school.
In our class we are 18 students: 11 nice girls (Chiara, Margherita, Chiara, Elisa, Sonia,
Jessica, Laura, Deborah, Arianna, Stefania, Sara) and 7 funny boys (Andrea, Manuele, Luca,
Alberto, Carmine, Davide, Alberto).
We are generally happy to go to school and our favourite subjects are P.E. and English
Our teachers say that we are a really good class.
CHIARA plays volleyball and she likes listening to music
MARGHERITA is a good friend
CHIARA plays tennis and she thinks positive
ELISA is a diver and she loves the Greek sea
SONIA likes horror films
JESSICA is very tall and she likes English very much
LAURA is quiet and sweet
DEBORAH likes talking to everybody about anything
ARIANNA likes reading books
STEFANIA is very tall and she is funny
SARA is calm and she has a nice smile
ANDREA lives in chaos and he is funny

I'm Sonia, an Italian student and I belong to the same wonderful 3rd E. We are very
united, but sometimes there are some quarrels.
We are the best in the school at playing basketball and volleyball. We love animals and we
like playing, meeting friends and studying English.
Now I'll introduce my school fellows:
ANDREA is very restless, but he is a gentleman: during a school trip, he offered a red
rose to a girl. He desperately loves this girl : her name is Monia.
CHIARA B. loves animals . She has cats, Guinea pigs and squirrels. She is very good at
playing volleyball and she likes sports.
MARGHERITA is a tourist . She visited lots of places all over the world . She likes
volleyball and she is a good friend .
MANUELE is pocket size. H e likes fishing the siluro, a big fish. He is very thin and
nimble.
CHIARA G. is a gifted pianist. She is the best at playing the piano. She likes sports,
especially volleyball.
ELISA is really very good at school. She loves studying, particularly Maths and History.
She is secretly in love : her love is Rodolfo.
SONIA : that's me. I love horror, mystery as mummies, Dracula, aliens and the secret
service (FBI, MI5, MI6, CIA, KGB+ICY-) . I like cinema, playing
volleyball and basketball. I like playing computer games.
LUCA has a big family. He has three brothers. He is the best in our class at basketball.
He likes birds and swimming.
ALBERTO P. likes girls. He is a Latin lover and he has a dog. He claims: My dog is the
best in the whole world. It's really wonderful. Will it be true??
CARMINE is amusing. He has two sisters and he is always quarrelling with them. He plays
football very well.
JESSICA is the cousin of a well known politician. She is a real friend. She is the tallest
in our class and she's the best in Technology.
DAVIDE is a champion of go-carts. He's a terrible gossip and he's so fussy' He likes
sports and Ferrari.
LAURA has an old fish: Pippo. She is tall. She loves tomatoes.
DEBORAH has two dogs: Lilli and Minni. They are very nice and they look like foxes. She
likes good looking actors.
ARIANNA is very calm. She's rather shy.
STEFANIA is very tall and she likes volleyball.
SARA is funny and short.
ALBERTO Z. likes computer games. He's good at school

Hello world,
we are two girls: Jessica and Stefania.
The greatest part of the girls in our class play volleyball while the boys play football
(the best is Luca). Davide's hobbies are Go-kart and girls he's a terrible gossip,
Alberto's hobby is training his dog and Manuele's hobby is fishing. We like horror and
action films, watching TV (especially MTV) and meeting our friends. We are a funny and
strange class and we want to know new friends of all over the world We are excited about
being a part of the TOE project.

Hello, World
We are three wonderful Italian boys: Davide, Alberto and Manuele. Our school is called
Enrico Fermi and it+IBk-s in Rubiera R.E.. (Italy) In our class all boys support a soccer
team called INTER.
Now we'll describe our class:
Deborah eats a lot of sandwiches
Meggy is the nicest girl in our class
Sonia is a good friend
Chiara B. is the best girl of our class. She likes animals very much
Arianna studies very much
Elisa likes reading .She's in love with Rudy, a friend of us
Stefy is very tall and also very shy
Sara is not a very tall girl and she has 2 brothers
Alberto P. is..................(better not to write anything)
Andrea is as restless as a monkey, but he's a good friend
Luca is always coping the homework
Carmine makes a lot of jokes with his shoes and speaks Italian during the
English hour
I (Alberto Zini) am the best of all
Davide is the best go-Kart's Champion in the world
Manuele is very good at fishing a kind of fish called Siluro.

We are Deborah, Chiara Ghi and Laura
Our weekly timetable is from 8.05 to 13.05 but, during the first weeks of the school year,
our weekly timetable was from 8.10 to 12.10.The break is from 11.05 to 11.15. We are very
close together as a class and we are very friendly but, sometimes, there are some
misunderstandings between us. The boys play football and the girls play volleyball or
tennis. We study English, we don't study another language.
Our teachers are very good but they always give us a lot of homework.
OUR CLASS IS VERY, VERY, VERY GOOD

Dearest friends of TOE,
I'm Arianna and I'm writing to you from an Italian school, exactly from Rubiera, a small
town near Reggio Emilia, in the north of Italy. The name of my school is Enrico Fermi.
I+IBk-m in the eight grade.
In my classroom there are 18 students: 11 girls and 7 boys. The most part of the girls
play Volleyball and the most part of the boys play Football.
My class is quiet enough but the most restless, the most excited is Andrea. He always
stands, when he must write too and he talks a lot I can say, on the whole, that he has an
expansive character
All member of the class like listening to music from MTV, from the radio or other.
This project, TOE, seems to me very very funny and interesting because we can meet new
friends from anywhere and we want to begin as soon as possible
