LETTER OF INTRODUCTION

Good morning world! We want to take a few minutes of your time tointroduce ourselves. We're Justin, Ryan, Michael, Englon, Marva, Sherika, Dena, Brandon, Melissa, April, Amanda, Jessica, Breann, Angela, Josee, Nicole, Shayana, and Airam, and we are 8th graders at Lake Ridge Middle School in Gary, Indiana. Our school is pretty typical--we decided our favorites subjects are social students and lunch! We were divided on what we thought about school, about half said it "sucked" and the other half said it was "straight." Dena likes science fiction-especially aliens, Marva and Breann are on the volleyball team, and Brandon plays baseball and basketball. Amanda is a watergirl for the football team -- she prefers to be called an aquatic engineer. We like to talk on the phone with our friends, watch TV, Michael says he likes to "chill in my crizzib" (that's home to all of you older folk!), and sleep. We also like to read books and play chess (yeah, right!) We do watch BET and MTV (we'll explain later to those who may not know what that is). We are really looking forward to hearing from other students across the world. We are working on a large map for the school hallway so everyone in the school can see where we have been.
