LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
Teft Middle School, Streamwood, Illinois

Hi! We live in a suburb close to close the windy city called to the windy city (Chicago). Here in Chicago the winters are very cold and the summers are very hot.Our school name is Tefft. Our mascot is the Tefft Trojan. Our schools colors are purple and white.Tefft got it's name from the Tefft family. They once had a farm where Tefft stands now. In our school we have about 640 students for seventh and eighth grade. We start at 9:00 A.M. and get out at 3:13 P.M.. We have eight periods that are forty-three minutes long and we have four minutes to get to our next class. We have a two story high brick building.
Students in our school come from many different cultures. In our class alone, we have people who's cultures include: German, Dutch, Mexican, Polish, Italian, French, and English.
A couple of weeks ago on a Friday we had a dance. At the dance we hung out, danced, and talked until 9:00 P.M.. The dance was called HOW BIZARRE. People dressed crazy. We even had a raffle.
In our school we enjoy many different foods. Some of the foods we enjoy are pizza, Mac-n-cheese, cheese cake, and many other foods. Pizza is made out of dough, cheese, sauce, and other various toppings. Mac-N-Cheese is made out of noodles and cheese. Behold cheese
Here at Tefft we are very interested in technology devices. The part we enjoy the most about technology is the computer. About ¾ of the people at our school have computers. One of our classes is industrial technology. This class allows us to enter the world of industry and use their technology.
The clothes that most people like to wear are flares, bell bottoms, wide legs, baggy jeans, tank tops, baggy shirts, Nike, Adidas,(girls wear ¾) cutsleeve shirts, Jeerways and many more. Popular brands are Nike, Adidas, Mudd jeans, Levis, New Yourks, Zandi, Paris, Blues, Zane, Tommy Hilfeger, Polo, Chamba, Jordache, Pipes, Limited Two, Bee-Bees, Union, Jacks, Lee, Revolt, Converse,and many, many more.
Here at Tefft we like tons of types of music. The top three categories of music style are Rap, R&B, and hard rock. In the rap category the poplar stars right now are JayZ, 2-pac, Puff Daddy, DMX, eminem, Larvile, eve, Busta Rhymes, Lunivle, and Master P. Some of the R&B people are Backstreet Boys, 'Nsync, Britnay Spears, 98, Christina Anglaria, and Lauren Hill. For the rock category we like Kid Rock, Limp Biscuit, Korn, Offspring, and Blink 82. Mostly our music stays the same.
The students at Tefft like many types of sports. Such as soccer football, kickball, softball, basketball, volleyball, mattball, and, dodgeball. For these sports you can participate after school or you can do them in gym for fun and games.
Some of our hobbies are playing sports, and being in music groups. We like horse back ridding, roller blading, hanging out, going to the movies, and many more things.
In conclusion, I hope you like the way Tefft is and come see it sometime in the future.
