LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
Fields Memorial School, Bozrah, Connecticut

Yo, people from all over the world, what's Up,
We are Mr. Goldberg's fifth grade class from beautiful Bozrah, Connecticut. We are a great class of 25 students. we hope to learn about
different cultures from all around the world. Here is some important information about us and our culture.
Our town is in the southeastern corner of Connecticut. Some of the larger cities nearby are Norwich, New Haven, and the capitol city of
Hartford. All of those cities are within one hours drive. We are a small town of about 2,500 people. The people though are mostly pretty nice.
Our town covers about 20.2 square miles. We just learned decimals in math class, hope most 5th graders know their decimals. We only have
about three restaurants in town, a post office and some businesses. We usually go the malls in the larger town nearby.
Our school goes from k-8th grade. we have about 300 students. The building we are in is real nice. It's new about three years ago. we have
carpeted classes, computer lab. library and media center, large new gym, new cafeteria. I guess you can call us real lucky. Our 5th grade class
operates a school store. Mr. Goldberg's class started it about 11 years ago. We are the 12th class to run it. we have four committees. we work
very hard getting the store ready. It will open in afew weeks. Maybe you people can order supplies and we will send them to you. We only sell
school supplies, real cheap we think. we advertise, we purchase all the supplies, we have a finance committee, and a scheduling group. we hope
to make a profit this year.
Those are some details about us, our town and our school. we are real excited about TOE project. We can't wait to hear back from other
