LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
Humanitarian Linguistic School 23,
Vladimir, Russia
Teacher: Marina Trubitsina
Dear friends, we are students of Humanitarian Linguistic School 23, Vladimir, Russia. Last weekend we went on a short excursion to the park which is named after the 850th anniversary of our native town Vladimir. The day was dull, the sky was cloudy and it was rather cold because of the wind. When we came to the gates we felt the smell of horses and some small animals, we saw several cages with a fox, a porcupine, three rabbits and a guinea pig. It was a strong and very unpleasant smell. We walked along the alley, there was a smell of leaves, very fresh and nice. At the end of the alley there is a fountain, it was working and we smelled water in the air. There wasn't much noise because there are few people in the park in autumn in the afternoon. We listened to the crows in the trees and heard how boys played football, they shouted loudly. We didn't stay in the park for a long time because the weather wasn't good for walking.
With best wishes from Vladimir, Russia
