Students introduce their words to the list Words are posted on Kidlink site, categorized by topic and language Graphic oranizers on website invite students to group words, see similarities, draw conclusions |
| March-May | Extension into the Arts
Students submit pictures that portray their words...samples of "concrete" and "shape" poems that incorporate typography will be presented on site Students share stories/legends connected with their words Students share music/songs connected with their words |

A volunteer team from various project sites puts together a multimedia "wordsong," incorporating art, music, words from the participants |
