Itinerary on the ferry

Hurray! That was the theme of most of the kids in the hotel this morning. Most of us were glad that this was the day that we finally get to go back to Hong Kong. We are all glad about it because most of us are kind of uncomfortable in the hotels. Also some of us don't really like the food. Almost everyone is saying that when they arrive back in Hong Kong, they are going to eat about 6 hamburgers.

Mrs. Lewis This morning, we all rushed down to breakfast with energy and power after a night of sleep and extra moral of leaving. The breakfast was fairly enjoyable with a lot of good food. We all went through breakfast quickly so that Mrs. Lewis could tell us about the days events. When we were finished with breakfast, Mrs. Lewis explained about the day to us. She said that we would be doing a 30 km bike ride today.

Then we went to the bus and we drove for about 5 minutes, it wasn't very long and then we got our bikes out and started biking. We biked about 20 km but we didn't visit any villages. We just biked non-stop all the way but there were some really nice sights. We saw a lot of factories. One of them was a textile factory. Most of that bit of biking was boring and it just tired you out.

Lewis Bikers Then when we got to the meeting point we waited for about 20 minutes until the other groups and people arrived. Then we waited a few minutes until everyone was cooled down and then we were told that it was just about another 500 meters until we were at the truck. So as soon as we could we biked to the truck and waited for every one else to get there. Then we were all handed a clean towel and we started to clean our bikes. It took a while because we were all not use to cleaning bikes. But we did the cleaning without any complaints. The only thing that was a bit annoying is that it was very hot and sunny. Because it was sunny, we all tried to finish cleaning our bikes as fast as we could. We also got a lot of pictures while we were cleaning the bikes.

We then rode for a short time on the bus and then stopped for our last Chinese meal. The meal was at a 1st floor restaurant in a building. The meal was quite enjoyable, and everyone seemed to be quite satisfied with the meal.

Alex and Kingston After stopping for lunch, we again got on the bus and the destiny was the seaport. After a short wait at the terminal, we lined up in visa order and went through immigration. We boarded a ferry named Cui Heng Hu. On the ferry, Mrs. Lewis told us to work in our booklets and virtual China things. She said that the more we did on the ferry, the less we will have to do when we arrive back in Hong Kong and start school.

And this is the end of our Lewis' Virtual China 1998 Zai Jian!

The Ferry

Slowly I sink into the water, as I am loaded with luggage, people and bicycles. The water is very dirty and it doesn't taste very good. I'm just sitting asleep waiting to move as I have my alarm clock set for 4:30. Bring, Bring, Bring! Ahhhh, is it that time already?

Suddenly my legs start to move. I try to stop them but I have no control. They are going in lots of different directions "this is awful". I hate my life. I have no control over it because I just cruise from place to place all around Asia. I don't know where I'm going and I can't see anything because the water is so murky. I put on a movie about some grass oil stuff and another movie on how to save your self if I start to sink. I don't know why they don't say how to save myself if I start to sink, and if I do sink nobody will care. I will just be a boat at the bottom of the ocean.

Let me tell you about my life. I was born in Western Australia. My mother's name is Austral ships. When I was born I was 39.9 meters long and I haven't grown since. I was born providing 421 life jackets, 25 life rafts and 6 buoys. My mother named me Cui Heng Hu, after my great great grandfather Cui Heng Bu. Even though I am only six years old I am well known and just as strong as any adult in my family of the Austral's.

So here I am taking some people to a destination where it is the most murky that I have been. I think I over heard someone say something about Hong Kong. This is one of the shortest trips that I have had between the long stops.

Being a high-speed ferry I love cruising over the water but I do not get much choice in that because I can not in control my movement at all. Soon I will rest in the dirty murky water of "Hong Kong".
