Today we went through many places. First we walked to the food market and along the way we saw a dead rat laying on the ground. At the food market we saw odd kinds of foods, like cow liver and cow lungs, stale Jalopinio peppers and soups. Then we went to the Button Market where we saw all kinds of modern day things including toys, boxing gloves (which I bought), tools, hardware, and buttons. I bought boxing gloves (HK$80), and a toy gun (HK$2). After the market we walked along the city wall from the west gate to the South Gate. We had an hour to sit in our rooms until our group meeting. We then took a bus to the Xi'an Dumpling restaurant for dinner. The food consisted of dumplings, appetizers, tea, soda, water, soup and fruit. The appetizers were hot and tasty and the soda tasted watered down and salty. Some of the dumplings we tried were : bean curd, pork & mushroom, beef, pork turnkey, turkey-beef, and many more combinations. I learned about a lot more different dumplings I have never heard of before.
