Itinerary

3 girls on plane


Day 1:

Xi'an Wall Meet at HKIS at 5:30 AM to be transported to the Kai Tak Airport for 8:00 a.m. breakfast flight to Xi'an. Arrival in Xi'an at 10:45 a.m. Small study groups walk along sections of the west and south walls of the city. Dinner at Shaanxi style dumpling restaurant.

Day 2:

Big Goose Pagoda Morning visit to the Shaanxi History Museum. Lunch in small study groups sometime during the walk to the Big Goose Pagoda. Late afternoon tour of the Great Mosque and exploratory walking tour of the Moslem Quarter of the city. Dinner in study groups in Bell Tower Hotel area. Evening visit to Tang Dynasty Show.

Day 3:

Scholars Street Morning tour of the Qin Terracotta Warrior Museum. Lunch near Terracotta Warrior Museum. Early afternoon visit to rural village. Late afternoon walks, in small study groups, of remaining sections of the city east and south walls. Exploring, shopping and dinner along Ching Dynasty "Scholars Street". Evening visit to Luo Ma Night market.

Day 4:

Bell Tower Morning study visit to a factory. Study groups explore outdoor food market. Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon visit with students of a Xi'an middle school. Dinner at a local restaurant. Evening small study group walking tour of old city center near Ming Era Bell Tower.

Day 5:

Taichi Exercises Early morning Tai Chi Exercises. 9:00 a.m. departure to airport in Xianyang. 11:45 a.m. lunch flight to Hong Kong. Arrive at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Airport at 2:30 p.m. Transport to HKIS.
