The Ferry Ride
April 7 Morning

Today at 6:45 AM we left the Repulse Bay elementary school and headed to the Kowloon ferry terminal. Once there we got off and headed towards customs. We had time to spare so we talked and rested until it was to go to customs so that we could board the boat. Half n hour later we were on the boat headed towards Kai Peng. The ride was about 4 hours long. So during the ride we past time by playing games or cards. Also by talking to our friends around us. The boat stopped several times and it seemed as if we were lost. We figured that getting lost on a river was pretty stupid. Around 3 hours later we decided to interview the captain of the boat. Justin, Patrick, and I asked the captain many questions which we had recorded on a little recorded that Justin had on him. After the interview it was time to go get our stuff together so that we could head straight for customs after getting off the boat. At customs we got into alphabetical order. Unfortunate customs took about 45 minutes. After that we boarded a bus and headed towards the bikes so that we could start our biking towards the hotel.

Afternoon
After customs which took forever we rode a bus to the site where we started to bike . We biked through rice patties where the farmers plant their rice . It was beautiful. After biking for 33 kilometers we got on a bus and went to the hotel. We ate a Chinese dinner with chopsticks and tried all the food. All in all it was a very tiring day.

Perspective
First my mother was taken away then my nose got pierced and my lead rope got caught around y legs and I fell into the water, nose first! Does the pain and misery in my life never end?

However, I was one the lucky water buffalo and I was chosen to go to the "Special Place". It must be pretty neat because non of the water buffalo ever come back. I am glad I'm a "chosen one" , it could turn my life around.

Or end it...

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I should be excited but, something is wrong, I don't feel quite right. I tried escaping but it didn't work. I am so worried, I wish I could die.
