HKIS China Study Trip Student Responsibilities

   (I)  INTERNET INFORMATION
 Each of our three traveling groups will be broken down into groups
of 5 or 6 students.  Once during their trip each group will be required to
write messages to you about what they've seen/experienced.  The group
will write the following to be shared with KIDPROJ participants:

 a) a detailed morning itinerary
 b) an detailed afternoon/evening itinerary
 c) two "perspective writings" (first person point of view)
 d) optional written interview of someone they met
 e) ...... one editor for all outgoing messages ......


   (II) GROUP PROJECT
 Clusters of 3 students must complete a "group project".  Themes
to be targeted include: 1) Culture of China, 2) Housing, 3) The Worker
and His Workplace, 4) Education, 5) Food and Agriculture,
6) Transportation, 7) Religion, 8) Environment and Ecology, and
9) Tradition vs. Modern.


   (III) PROFILES
 Students will be required to complete each of the following
 sometime during their week of travel:

 a) School Profile
 b) Factory Profile
 c) Rural Village Profile
 d) Village Person Profile
 e) Characteristics of Rural Chinese Lifestyles


   (IV)  DAILY JOURNALS  (for personal reflection only)


   (V)  RESPOND TO 1 OR 2 QUESTIONS FROM STUDENTS AROUND THE WORLD (YOU!!)
 (may have to wait until the students return to Hong Kong)
