Message: We were at school (HKIS) at the break of dawn. We got on the bus
and we hit the road. The tension was high as we pulled into the Ferry
Terminal. Everybody was pushing to get off the bus as they were excited to
go to China. The ferry to Guanghai took about three hours. The ferry ride
was extremely boring In China we met Ian Daker a "Bike man," the
professional bike man who was going to accompany us on our journey. He read
us the biking ten commandments. We were greeted by the honking of the
million car horns in unison as we pulled away from the Guanghai terminal
and headed north to our evening destination of Taishan approximately 95
kilometers away.

Immigration, it has to be the single most annoying thing on the planet. We
had to fill in an information sheet that has questions like, do you have
AIDS. where have you been in the last month. Questions like that but the
annoying thing was that they always were pointing to the sheet, saying,
"fill in!" and then when it was my turn to go to the counter, they didn't
want it. But all in all, it went fine. But my "happy day" was ruined when
we got on the road. People went on the road in cars all they could do was
honk their horns. But later on we went into a square made by Foreign
Chinese. There we were monsters, they all looked at us. They all said
"hello" and it got a little annoying so we left. Later we went into a
village of 10 people. We all exchanged hellos, but for the sake of time, we
left. We were not allowed to make stops. So in the city we fought through
horns, battled bikes, and finally made it to the hotel.

Message:
Waking up really early we went on our way to breakfast. There, 50 people in
red shirts carrying there backpacks picked at the unknown dishes. Instead
of getting on our bikes instantly we walked around the town and visited a
wet market, a catholic school and an English school.
At the elementary school, all the kids were scattered among us and giggled
when we tried to take their picture. At the other school a couple of us
taught the students some words in English and the song: "If your happy and
a you know it, clap your hands"
Last, but not least, we went to the wet market where we saw meat swinging
back and forth and lingered all around us. Next to the wet market was the
live animal market where your purchase was killed brutally in front of you.
Some of the animals included
