I hope you have a great time in the rainforest. I was wondering if you brought food from home or ate plants and fruits from the rainforest?
If you come across a wild, deadly, meat eating, hungry, and angry animal what would you do?
Well any way I hope you have a safe and fun trip to the rainforest.
BYE!

From Jeremy of Helena Flats School in Kalispell, Montana.

5. Where did you get the money for your trip?

Answer from Chris of Dhahran School in Saudi Arabia:
I got my money from my parents. I live in a compound and the area is green with lots of trees with grass but it is desert next to the houses. The desert is rocky with not a lot of plants.
If we go out of our compound the desert is all sand with some plants.
Good Bye.

8. Kelly, Are you excited about going to Sumatra? What do you have to take with you?
Answer from Ryan of Dhahran School in Saudi Arabia:

Dear Erik,
No, I am not scared of getting Malaria, because I will take my pills.
From Karen of Dhahran School in Saudi Arabia

February 1997
Right now our trekking group is getting packed and I ordered hiking boots from LL Bean. I need to get hiking pants and equipment and I've got a cool backpack. We have to take Malaria and maybe Typhoid pills, because, over in Sumatra the local water and mosquitoes could be bad.
