Multi-cultural Recipe Book

Dear Patti,

We would like to take part into the multicultural recipe book. Here's a famous recipe written by Letizia Burani.

Ingredients

600gr of flour

1 spoon of  olive oil

1 spoon  of  lard

1      spoon  full to the brim of kitchen salt

half  envelope  of  brewer's yeast  for  pizza

2      glasses of milk 

Directions

Mix the flour  with  the  milk  ( 2 glasses) and the yeast well.

Leave the  dough to stand for at least for 2 hours and then draw the dough and cut it into rectangular pieces.

Then fry them in boiling oil. You must eat it when it is warm with cheese, ham or salami.

Ingredienti

600 g.  farina

1 cucchiaio di olio

1 cucchiaio di  strutto

1 cucchiaio raso di sale

mezza busta di lievito per pizza

 

Esecuzione

Impastare bene con il latte (2 bicchieri).

Fare riposare la pasta per almeno 2 ore. 

Fare dei rettangoli con la pasta e poi friggerli in olio bollente.

Mangiare possibilmente caldo con prosciutto, salame o formaggio.
