This recipe is called Gau. It is kind of like mochi but chewier. This recipe originated from China and I like it very much. We eat Gau on Cinese New Year and my auntie gave it to us. This recipe is special because my mom's mom gave it to her and now she shares it with me. This is a real sweet recipe and tastes real good. It tastes real tender and has a brownish color to it. When I eat it, it meakes me feel good inside. We also like it when it is warm. If you make it cold, it will be real stiff.
