CULTURAL BACKGROUND

Mixed Vegetable Pie is a favorite meal in India. This recipe is very like the recipe called Apple Pie. We know many different pies like apple, meat, . The name of this recipe may sound strange, but it isn't. Indian people eat a lot of vegetables and spiced ones too. You could say that this recipe is an exception, because it hasn't got any spiced ingredients. This recipe is also the easiest to make and the tastiest. Others are tasty too, but they are very spicy so you can't tell, are they tasty or not, because you need to drink 1l of water to cool the fire in your mouth from the spiced meal you eat. The spicy ingredient is often pepper and chilli. I enjoyed this meal, because it wasn't spicy. I hope you will too.
