Trojan Horse Biscuits

School: Leadgate Junior School, England

Many children took part in this project. For a week, the children baked Trojan Horse Biscuits. Each day someone would decide on the "Secret Ingredient", and the teachers had to try them, and guess what it was. Try using your own secret ingredient.

Ingredients:

110grams Flour
55grams Sugar
55grams Margarine
1½ tablespoons of milk
The Secret Ingredient

Oven:

Moderate (180°) for 15 mins.

Instructions:

1. Wash hands, and put aprons on.
2. Mix flour and sugar in a bowl.
3. Rub in margarine.
4. Add the secret ingredient.
5. Add milk and mix to a stiff paste (dough).
6. Roll out the dough.
7. Cut round out horse shapes.
8. Place on a baking parchment.
9. Place on baking tray.
10. Place in oven for 15 minutes.
11. Remove and allow to cool.
