What wonderful recipes, I can't wait to try them. I love trying new recipes especially ones from other cultures. My name is Michelle Bartee and I have lots of recipes from other parts of the world. Here is one that a friend gave me, her father is a Cherokee Indian from Oklahoma and she got this recipe from her grandmother. It's called Indian Fry Bread

2 cups flour
2/3 to 3/4 cups milk
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup sugar

Mix ingredients to form a ball of dough. Tear off chunks and roll out on a floured surface to your preferred thickness. Make small slits in center of dough patties. Deep fry until golden brown on both sides. Great with taco meat and fixings or used as a dessert with cinnamon and sugar. Just an idea for you, you may want to have a cultural lunch one day. Gather recipes from other areas of the world, have the kids help make them and have a cultural luncheon for all to enjoy. Just an idea.

Look forward to more recipes, Michelle Bartee
