A TRADITOINAL RECIPE

Once my mother went to her friend's house and there were many of dishes and my mother liked it best. She asked for the recipe and uses it now for special occasions. The special occasions when this lovely cake mm,m,mm is on birthdays and in Hari Raya.

Ingredients:

Part A
1.Flour…………………………………………1cup
2.Semovita……………………………………..1.cup
3.Sugar………………………………………….1cup
4.Eggs…………………………………………3 eggs
5.Salt……………………………………1/2 teaspoon
6.Baking powder………………………..1 tablespoon
7.Butter(without melting)………………2 tablespoons
8.Liquid milk…………………………..2 tablespoon
9.Decicated………6 tablespoon

Part B Syrup:

1.Water……..2 cups
2.sugar………1cup

Method:

take the of part b put it in the pan and boil it for 5 minutes at high flame then leave it aside. Now take the ingredients of part a and mix them together with a wooden spoon.Grease the pan and pour the batter into the pan and bake it at 200 C for 10 minutes in a preheat oven. Then reduce the heat to 170 C for fifteen minutes then bake it at 150 C for 10 minutes. Check it by a toothpick if it is dry that means it is done. Remove it from the oven and pour the cool syrup on the cake.
