Warabi ``(fern shoot)

My name is Justina Yanuaria and I am a 6th grader at Manoa Elementary School. I am 11years old and I live in Hawaii. My recipe is called Warabi ``(fern shoot) and it is a recipe from Japan.

Ingredients~

20 chopped warabi ( fern shoot)
1 container taegu half chopped fish cake
1 cup artifical crab
2 table spoon shoyu (soy sauce)

Directions ~

Boil warabi for 20 minutes, then drain and mix with fishcake, taegu, artifical crab and shoyu (soy sauce). Finally put into the refrigerator to chill.

Summary ~ My recipe of warabi is fern. It grows in the Manoa Valley, the valley we live in. Warabi is a japanese vegetable dish. My grandma makes this dish for us for dinner. There is no certain tradition you would have to eat this. The taegu added to this recipe makes the warabi hpt soit taste good. My grandma had this dish when she was young girl, too but now she grows in her garden.
