Directions ~

Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup of the water. In a sauce pan bring the remaining 1 cup water to boil. Add softened gelatin and stir until gelatin is dissolved. Stir in sugar, milk, and almond extract. Pour into and 8 - inch square pan and chill until firm. Cut almond gelatin into diamond-shaped pieces; carefully put into a bowl. Pour peaches liquid over gelatin. Cut peaches into smaller peaches, add with lychees and cherries to almond gelatin mixture.

Makes 8 servings.

Summary ~

My recipe is called "Almond float." I'm not sure where it originated from, but this recipe was created by my mother and is served at any occasion after dinner.
