Tofu Stir Fry

My name is Jafari and I am a 6th grader at Manoa Elementary School. I am 10 years old and i live in Hawaii. My recipe Tofu Stir Fry and it is a recipe from Japan.

Ingredients~

1 block firm tofu (cut into squares],
Broccoli,
Carrots,
Seasoned Salt to taste,
Green onions,
Clove of Garlic,
Pepper,
nutritional yeast [found at health food stores], Soy Sauce to taste & 3 tablespoons oil.

Directions ~

Fry tofu in oil and sprinkle season salt, pepper and nutritional yeast while one side of tofu is browning. Turn tofu to other side and let brown. Add green onions and stir fry a couple of minutes. Then add carrots and broccoli and stir fry a few more minutes. Add soy sauce, stir and lower heat to low. Let sit for 5 minutes, then serve with brown rice.

I think this recipe comes from China, because it is a stir fry dish. I like this recipe because it taste good. Also, because people did not not have to kill an animal to get it.

The yeast in the tofu has lots of vitamins, A good thing is tofu is protein.

In this dish I also like the tofu, because it is crispy. The tofu is served with brown rice.
