FISH AND RICE SALAD
Ingredients:
a glass of rice
2 leeks
butter
boiled fish
2 hard-boiled eggs,
2/3 glass of canned peas
mayonnaise
spring parsley
a pinch of salt
Instructions:
Melt the butter in a pot, add some leek that was cut in thin rings, rice and
blanch a bit. Add some water, salt and boil the rice until ready for 20
minutes. Let it cool, add diced boiled fish, egg, peas and mayonnaise. Put
into a salad dish and decorate with slices of egg and spring parsley.
I do not know about the cultural background of this dish but it was my mum
who taught me to prepare it.
