T Kromm School Name: Academy OnLine Country: Canada Recipe Name: Pineapple Delight Type Of Dish: Dessert Ingredients: 1/2 c. milk 1 lb. or 1/2 pkg. mini-marshmallows 3/4 pkg. graham wafer crumbs 1/2 pint whipping cream 1-8 oz. tin crushed pineapple (drained) Instructions: Heat milk for 2 minutes. Melt marshmallows in milk Refrigerate for 15 minutes. Whip cream until peaks form. Put crumbs in bottom of pan. Save crumbs for topping also. Mix refrigerated portion and add pineapple to it. Fold in whipping cream. Put in pan and add wafers to top. Refrigerate for 1 hour. This recipe is not from any particular ethnic group. My mother received it from a friend who copied it from a Canadian recipe book. Shawn Harper =) |
