It's the last week before Easter now so we decided to offer you one more
Lenten recipe. As we have already written to you the Russians like
soups. So it is one more soup, the Fruit Soup.

For the soup you need a half glass of rice, dried fruit (pears, apples,
apricots, raisins, sultanas, plums, figs).

Directions: wash the rice in running water then put it into boiling
water and boil until ready. Drain the rice. Add the dried fruit into
boiling water and boil until soft. Then add the prepared rice and let
the mixture boil and immediately take it off the fire. You can eat the
soup either hot or cold.

The recipe is given by Ivan Kapran, 6th grader.
