To: KIDPROJ@LISTSERV.NODAK.EDU

Hi everyone,  my name is Miss Terran Kromm, and I am a teacher from Alberta, Canada.  My grade 7 students and I, are part of a virtual learning community, and therefore are spread out all over the province with our computers.  Our school name is Academy On-Line, and the head office is located in Innisfail, AB.  (Thank goodness our school roof doesn't leak, although we are really not there to worry about it anyway!;)  (I quite enjoyed reading the Guernsey intro.!!)

We have various interests and hobbies, ranging from computers and Nintendo, to horse back riding and just plain old, hanging out at the mall.
A big activity here right now, because of the cool weather and snowy climate, is hockey!  Hockey, hockey, hockey!  I guess it is a Canadian thing!:)

My students will be excited to learn that we are doing another wonderful Kidlink project, where we can share our ideas with other kids from around the world.  I look forward to reading everyone's responses in the future.

Miss Terran Kromm

PS  If anyone would like to learn more about Canadian culture, or perhaps would like to gain a new pen pal, by all means drop us a line.:)
