That night my grandparents called our house. We asked them to call back because we were eating dinner. They asked what time to call back.

I thought they should call back at 7:30, but they live in Nevada so I asked myself, "What time would it be if it’s 7:30 in Pennsylvania?"

When I woke up Sunday I knew I was cursed, math cursed! It started when I was feeding Luther, my dog, breakfast. Luther gets fed three times a day. He gets one and 1/3 cups at one meal. I asked myself the following questions:

1. How many cups a day is he fed?

2. How long will a 22 pound bag last him?

Then I went to Youth Group. We were making college care packages. We need to make 15. We had 50 bags of popcorn and 75 bags of pretzels. I wondered:

1. How many bags are in all?

2. How many bags of pretzels are left over after each package gets one?

3. How many bags are left over in all?

4. How many more bags could we put in each package?
